Perspective // Michael Doyle
An undergraduate Computer Engineering student at the University of Notre Dame, Doyle maintains a variety of skills and interests. Using a keen eye for analytical writing and impact messaging, he maintains a biweekly column in The Notre Dame Observer's Opinion section, of which several articles are included in the "Catalog" section of this site.
With developed skillsets in Python, MATLAB, and Excel, Doyle holds an interest in cybersecurity, having earned his ISC2 CC certification. An Eagle Scout since 2025, he maintains an integrity necessary for team cohesion as well as a zeal for learning demanded by rigorous coursework.
Presently a research assistant for the Data Security and Privacy lab under Professor Taeho Jung, Doyle also maintains concurrent roles as an IT technician for the University of Notre Dame's Office of Development and as a ticket office attendant at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
